Lumberjacking

To use the Lumberjacking skill, equip a hatchet or axe and move close to a tree then double click on the tree you would like to harvest wood from, note you may also use the 'G' hot key while standing next to a tree to harvest wood from it automatically. If you succeed the tree will fall and wood will be placed in your pack. You can take wood and sell it to a carpenter or use it with crafting skills such as blacksmithing and carpentry as a resource.

Note: Lumberjacking is largely implemented on early access release, however only cedar wood can be collected. In the future additional resource types of wood will be available.

Trees that have been chopped down will typically replenish in about 10 – 20 minutes.
